The Silverado crew was out in force on mothers day. Out of the 7 Team members that took to the course, 4 found their way to the podium…not a bad showing.
The day started out cool, but with plenty of sunshine. It promised to be a long tough race with plenty of fast guys and gals showing up. Once the race got under way the sun turned to ominous clouds and the snow/sleet began to fall. So goes spring in Central Oregon, but it kept the dust down and kept the corners firm and fast.
The pro and cat 1 men faced the prospect of 3 tough laps and a winding 38+ mile course.
Brig battled it out with Ryan Trebon and came in 2nd in the Pro field with Greg right behind him for 3rd. Bruce had an early start lap crash that took him out of the race with some mechanical issues. Matt and Damian took 12th and 13th in a strong field after a nearly 3 hour race.
Bart had a strong race taking the top step of the podium for the cat 1 35-44 men and besting many of the pro’s.
Serena was working hard and chasing after some of the fastest women of the sport, with a super fast race she came out in 3rd for the pro women.
It was a good day for the team and great to have everyone out racing. Thanks for all the cheering and support we received. See you out there next time!
